The mission of the Riverhead Central School District is to inspire and academically empower all students to become tomorrow’s leaders by: developing their unique gifts and potential; providing an environment that fosters integrity, creativity, and respect; and, ensuring that our students becomesuccessful , contributing citizens in a global community.
RCSD consists of seven schools: four K-4 elementary schools, an intermediate school, a middle school and a high school.

Each year in May the District mounts a huge exhibit of all the artists in the district -- Art-In-Action
Location, scholarships, business partnerships, active volunteer participation as mentors and helpers in the schools, as well as a strong sense of community make Riverhead schools a good place to educate children.
